Remote not working

  1. Check the Remote's Battery

  • Press any button on the remote.

  • If the blue light at the top of the remote lights up, the remote has a working battery.

  • If no blue light appears, replace the battery with a CR2045 battery.

  1. Test the Remote After Replacing the Battery

  • After replacing the battery, press any button.

  • If the blue light still does not light up, the remote may be faulty.

  1. Power Cycle the Louvre System

  • Turn off the power to the louvre system.

  • Wait 30 seconds, then turn the power back on.

  • Listen for a quick beep from the control unit within the post when the power turns on:

  • If no beep is heard, there may be an issue with the power source or control unit issue that requires replacement.

  1. Pairing the Remote with the Motor

  • After turning the power on and hearing the control unit beep, pair the remote as follows:

  • Place the remote into channel 3.

  • Hold the U2 button on the remote until the control unit starts beeping.

  • Then, hold the open button until the motor stops beeping.

  • This completes the pairing process.

If issues persist, contact support for further assistance.

Louvre remote opening direction is incorrect

If the opening direction of the louvre blades is incorrect (e.g. open button closes the louvres and close button opens the louvres) follow the below.

After turning the power on and hearing the motor beep, pair the remote as follows:

  1. Hold the U2 button on the remote until the motor starts beeping.

  1. Then, hold the stop button (middle button on the remote) for 1 second.

  1. This completes the change of direction process.

Lights are not working:

  1. Ensure right buttons being clicked:

  1. Lighting button – turns on white lighting

  1. RGB button – turns on RGB lighting

  1. Ambient button – changes RGB colour

  1. Check Remote Pairing

  1. Ensure the remote is paired with the system.

  1. Test this by pressing the open, close, or stop button on the remote.

  1. Test Louvre Functionality

  1. If the louvres respond (open/close) to the remote, the issue is likely with the light wiring.

  1. Inspect Light Wiring

  1. Lights are typically connected in a circuit at each corner section within the gutters of the louvre system.

  1. Check the two power cords closest to the control unit:

  1. Ensure they are connected to the correct control unit's LED output wires.

  1. If these wires are not connected or connected to the wrong wires from the control unit, the lights will not function.

  1. Check Motor and LED Connections

  1. Confirm that the control unit and LED lights are connected correctly.

  1. If the wiring appears correct, proceed to check the motor functionality.

  1. If the Motor Does Not Respond

  1. If the motor does not operate when using the remote, the issue may be with the control units power source or the motor itself.

  1. Refer to the Troubleshooting and Pairing Guide for Remote and Louvre System (steps above) to resolve motor issues.

Motor not working:

  1. Test if other Functionalities Work

  1. Use the remote to turn lights on (if installed).

  1. If the lighting works, check the motor cable is connected to the correct output 24V motor wire from the control unit. There are two motor output cables from the control unit – test both.

  1. If the lighting doesn’t work, follow guide below.

  1. Check the Remote

  1. Press any button on the remote (e.g., open, close, or stop).

  1. If the blue channel light at the top of the remote lights up, the remote has power.

  1. If the blue channel light does not appear, replace the battery with a CR2045 battery.

  1. Test the motor again using the remote.

  1. Test Control Unit Power Supply

  1. Ensure the motor is connected to a working power source.

  1. Check if the power outlet is functioning by testing it with another device.

  1. Confirm that all wiring connections between the motor and the power supply are secure and intact.

  1. Power Cycle the Louvre System

  1. Turn off the power to the control unit and louvre system.

  1. Wait 30 seconds, then turn the power back on.

  1. Listen for a quick beep from the control unit when power is restored:

  1. If no beep is heard, the control unit may have a power issue or may need to be replaced.

  1. Reset and Re-Pair the Remote

  1. After turning the power back on, follow these steps to re-pair the remote:

  1. Press and hold the U2 button on the remote (while in channel 3) until the control starts beeping.

  1. Press and hold the open button on the remote until the motor stops beeping.

  1. Test the motor again using the remote.

  1. Inspect Motor Wiring

  1. Check all wiring connections to ensure they are properly secured.

  1. Verify that no wires are damaged, loose, or disconnected.

Missing Part:

  1. Verify all cartons are received:

  1. Check the number of cartons you have received against the total number listed on the boxes.

  1. Look for markings like "2/4" on the cartons. This indicates the carton is box 2 out of 4.

  1. Ensure all cartons in the set (e.g., all 4) are present before proceeding.

  1. Inspect each carton:

  1. Open all cartons and carefully check inside for the missing parts.

  1. Look inside beams, posts, or louvre blades, as small parts are sometimes stored in their cavities.

  1. Check the installation area:

  1. During installation, parts may fall out of the cartons or components.

  1. Thoroughly check the area around your installation site for any parts that may have dropped.
